  • Ellen Cheon, PhD – assistant professor in the Department of Regenerative and Cancer Cell Biology. Dr. Cheon has dedicated her career to ovarian cancer research and her findings have contributed to a better understanding of ovarian cancer biology and the translational utility of novel therapeutic strategies.

  • $25,000 to grant recipient Dana Marie Roque, MD from the University of Maryland School of Medicine, Greenebaum Comprehensive Cancer Center. Her research focuses on Nanotechnology-Assisted, Mechanism-Based Combination Therapy for Ovarian Cancer Peritoneal Carcinomatosis.

Lynne Cohen Foundation

  • $25,000 that along with past donations have helped to fund the Lynne Cohen & Caring Together Project for Women with Increased Risk for Cancer at Langone and Bellevue Medical Centers

  • $10,000
